Intimate Weddings

We can accommodate a romantice elopment for two or a larger wedding for groups of up to a 100 depending on the nature of your wedding, e.g., ceremony only, buffet style reception, hors d'oevers, sit down dinner, etc.  Fees for weddings vary depending on the extent of service and planning you request. For your convenience, if you should choose, The Queen's Residence has partnered with Ypsi Brides to create a seamless and stress-free "one stop" wedding experience.

Showers

We offer elegant spaces for both bridal and baby showers.  You may rent space for $50.00/hr. You may hold your event outdoors in our bricked courtyard or indoors in our parlors and dining rooms. This option allows you to bring in your own refreshments.

Use of The Wild Turkey Tavern

The Wild Turkey Tavern in the Queen's Residence B & B

is the hidden treasure of Ypsilanti!  It is an authentic 18th century tavern that was originally located in New England.  The tavern is available by reservation only for parties of 12 to 24. You may refer to our tavern page for details.

For couples staying at the inn, you are welcome to enjoy a romantic dinner in the tavern ordered from a local restaurant there is a $25.00 charge for service, candles, firewood and cleanup.

The Wild Turkey Tavern does not sell food or alcoholic beverages and is not open to the public!

Business Meetings

The Queen's Residence B & B is  wonderful setting for an off-site business retreat or day meeting for groups of approximately 8 - 12.  There are two large tables that can seat 8 - 10 people each.  For breakout sessions, the two parlors and two dining rooms can be utilized.  Coffee, tea and snacks and/or light lunches can be arranged.  Rate:  $50.00/hr. plus cost for food service.
