• Intimate Weddings

  We can accomodate groups of 25 -50 depending on the nature of your wedding, e.g., ceremony only, buffet style reception, hors d'oevers, sit down dinner, etc.  Fees for weddings varies depending on the degree of service and planning you request.  However, our basic rate is $500.00 plus guestroom rentals for the day of the wedding.

• Showers

         We offer an elegant space for both bridal and baby                showers.  You may rent the space for $50.00/hr. This           option allows you to bring in your own reshments.                  For  those wishing to make their shower extra 

         special,   We   can provide a three course afternoon tea

         (see below) for an extra $25.00 pp.

• Business Meetings

        The Queen's Residence B & B is  wonderful setting for

          an off-site business retreat or day meeting for 

          groups of approximately 8 - 12.  There are two large

          tables that can seat 8 - 10 people each.  For breakout

          sessions, the two parlors and two dining rooms can

          be utilized.  Coffee, tea and snacks and/or light

          lunches can be arranged.  Rate:  $50.00/hr. plus cost

          for food service. 

• Afternoon Tea

         The Queen's Residence B & B has a long history of

           hosting afternoon tea. Prior to becoming a B & B,  

           Marla and her friend, Nancy Harrington, ran a tea

           house here called Pastime and Time Past.  Now we

           offer afternoon tea by reservation for groups on

           weekends or during the summer.  Afternoon teas

           include savories (tea sandwiches, hot hor d'oevers),

           scones with devonshire cream, lemon curd and jam,

           and sweets, as well as brewed tea.  Cost is $25.00 pp.

           plus $50.00 for use of the inn space.

• Tavern Parties

         The Wild Turkey Tavern in the Queen's Residence B & B

          is the hidden treasure of Ypsilanti!  It is an

          authentic 18th century tavern that was originally

          located in New England.  It is a perfect setting for a

          business lunch, office party, special event, or a unique

          get together with friends.  We offer both lunch and

          dinner parties. Meals are catered by Chef Chad Clay

          and entertainment is provided by a Celtic Harpist.
